Hi everyone

If I was use drop shipping as one of the methods of monetizing my website does one have to be by their computer all the time - or available all the time.

I have a rough idea but could someone please explain to me EXACTLY how drop shipping works, and what my involvement would be.

Thank you Craig

Here is an image that shows the dropshipping cycle. If you're not selling on eBay then just replace eBay with "your online store".

(NOTE: Yes, the image is mine)

But it is hard to find a dropshipper that will have profit margins you can live on. Most of them offer you slim-to-none in the profit area.

Not sure if you would be interested, but i have totally eliminated all of my dropshippers due to my profits were very small. I do not like when somebody makes money on what I sell. All a dropshipper does is take about twenty percent of your profit and really does not give the personal service that my company needs to it customers.

I have switched over to a fulfillment company that alows me to order my own material ship it to there warehouse and they do the work from there. I have made a extra five to seven dollars per order doing this way. I will never drop ship again!

I am slowly eliminating drop shipping for the same reason, no real profit. It was a great tool while starting out though because I didn't have alot of money to stock in bulk or meet the minimum first orders.

manufactures manufacture products, dropshippers buy products from them by cheaper price and in wholesale.

sellers create a account in dropshipping company and promote the product by rising the price. by this way you can earn money.
