I'm contemplating using PayPal to sell an associate's handmade jewelery. Obviously the pieces of jewelry are all one of a kind. I've thought of putting a few lines at the top of the page that say "Please email (the artist) to check availability, then add to cart and checkout." This seems awkward to me. How else can I use my PayPal shopping cart (or any other method) to sell one-of-a-kind objects like jewelry and paintings, without having people accidentally pay for items that have just been sold?
