What are some websites that I can use (other than paypal) to accept credit card transactions for purchases on my website. I don't want to set up a shopping cart because I'm not going to have but 4-5 ebooks on my site for sale. Does anyone have any experience with anything other than paypal?

Well, if it helps, there are other payment processors besides paypal, but paypal is the most popular due to the wide range of support through out the world, not just for one country.

I was trying to avoid using paypal because of the amount they take out per transaction.

Google Checkout, 2Checkout and Authorize.Net may be worth your attention as an alternative.

Paypal is the best we have used so far but when we had problems with them holding on money, we tried AlertPay. It's not so good compared to Paypal but it's a good alternative. You can research before trying. Good luck!
