Hello everyone,

This is my first post. I am currently in charge of designing and developing a web site for a jewelry company based out of Ohio. I have the foundation of the web site in place, yet I am confused as to what my next steps should be. I am looking for a service that will provide me with shopping cart functionalities, a payment gateway, and the possibility of a wish list. Are there services out there that can provide me with these capabilities?

I'm not looking for a shopping cart to control my web site. I've developed the site to specifications found through market research. I've noticed that customizing shopping carts can be difficult and tedious.

Is there anything out there for my circumstances?

There are definitely services that provide shopping carts. The only one I've ever used is for a client is 1shoppingcart, which seems pretty decent to me.

You'll still need to get a merchant account. The cart will make it easy to connect to the merchant account, but I don't think they'll provide one for you.

Search for 'hosted shopping carts' or similar to find more. They definitely exist. They may or may not be easier than customizing a cart you install on the site though. It'll depend on the service. Some will be easier to work with than others.
