Hello, I am unsure of what this system is called but I am looking for a payment processor like odesk.com where an individual is paid for their work right away and I would automatically get my percentage from the deal as well. Would anyone be able to help me out with this? Thank you

Well it depends on your location and who your target consumers are. There are many payment processors out there such as Chase, Wells and Cardservice that cater to US merchants. Paypal is easy to set up if you're targeting international clients.

oDesk is NOT a payment processor.
Its an online freelance outsource site.
Payment processors are Paypal, Moneybookers, Alertpay etc.

odesk is a freelance site. Well, you need to create a script for yourself using paypal API.
I am not aware about paypal API. Hire some coder on odesk.

I think I might have caused confussion- I want to create the same payment setup for my own website like odesk. So what I wanted to know was: what is the setup odesk uses to accept payments and automatically be able to take there percentage and pay the person that was hired. I hopefully wrote that one better.

Yep.

They are a site for freelance programmers etc, after all!

And it's not like it's anything really complicated to do.
