And how did you transfer your funds into the PayPal account?

Paypal sucks, yes, but, do you have a better alternative ? Payoneer Credit Cards have many limits, MoneyBookers too ..

i just sign up for a paypal account. It is written that to confirm my bank account, they will deposit a very small 2 funds in my bank account. i have to enter the exact amounts after checking my bank account statement to verify!

i'm using State Bank of India - Net Banking facility. i need to buy a domain from godaddy and without a credit card, paypal seems to be the only way. how long do they usually take?

P.S. Thanx for moving my thread to the appropriate forum.

Usually a matter of minutes to do the transfers, provided your details are correct. You can then login to online banking or wait until you can get a statement.

i think u r mistaken.
this is what is written:

Quote:
In 4-6 business days, check your bank account: State Bank of India x-xxxx. You should see 2 deposits from PayPal on 14 February 2010. Then, go to your PayPal account and enter the amounts to complete the verification process. After you've confirmed your bank account, your Sending and Withdrawal limits will be removed.
i still haven't got the funds. wrote to the paypal guys but no response!

EDIT: i'm sure i entered my bank details correctly. i can't edit it now or can't see what i have written either!!

can i add the account again? will paypal accept that?

Obviously it is different for Indian banks then. For a UK bank the process was done in under 15 minutes including logging in to online banking to check the amounts deposited.

Probably due to there being less risk of fraud with banking in some countries.
