Hi there

I have been thinking about the best e-commerce strategy for selling videos online?

Here are my options:

1. Sell them as a DVD, ship, post and deliver them.
2. Sell them as a download file once payment has gone through.
3. Membership lounge for a paid subscription

The only issue with Option 2. is; the files are too big to download for full quality, web page could crash when downloading a video file, etc.

What do you think?

I imagine we are talking about some videos/ DVD's that you have copyrights to, like for example you've created/ licensed a "how to" video and now you want to sell it online...and deliver it as a physical DVD and as a digital download.

Check out:
Fastspring and Plimus
They have digital file delivery systems, with Digital Rights Management to help avoid piracy and they offer CD "backups" on demand, which I think can also be DVD format.
