Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has a legit Vbulletin they do not use anymore... And would be nice enough to let me use it now I know you may not want to just give it away that's why I will always all you access and give you Administrator rights on it so it's still like your's but just on my server.

[EDIT] : I do not care to much about the version.

Thank you for reading

Why does it have to be vBulletin? Simple Machines Forum (SMF) is pretty good (and free) and less resource intensive than vBulletin.

Well it doesn't have to be vbulletin but I was a mod on a forum that used it for some years, and I know pretty much everything I need to know about it so for me it's the easiest as I have used it for so long, also the look and feel comes into play with vbulletin I like how much you can customize it.

I've been "playing with" SMF for a few weeks setting up a couple of projects and finding it quite a nifty tool with plenty of "skins" and mods around.

+1 for SMF.

It really is quite good.
MUCH better than phpBB ( since they over complicated the permissions and roles )

I too use SMF, but it has its limitations, at least in the RC3 version which is the one I use, but I agree it's pretty and well designed. phpBB has always had and still have security issues.

Go for smf till the board starts making money, then transfer it over to VB, smf is fine especially as it is free
