I was reading through all of the replies and wondered if anyone would mention this. This has one of the biggest impacts on internet purchases. Without peer to peer reviews, you are falling behind.
Forget all of the basic "tips" in this thread like "have a good marketing plan", "know your customer", "excite them", "good pricing", etc. None of those are tips. Those are common sense or nonsense. Peer to peer reviews have such a huge impact on sales and companies are spending big money to get them.
Peer to peer reviews attract visitors, close sales and they generate the best content for search engines.
Best tip yet... get peer to peer reviews.
Thanks ecommercehelper. I almost lost faith in this place when no one was mentioning one of the best tips to increase sales.
