Hi zelllibin,

I'd say do some social networking, create a facebook fan page and also a facebook group, get people liking your page by being active and spreading the word in other pages and groups.

Twitter, get a twitter account and start getting followers, get targeted followers to your niche then tweet your link.

You can do ads on Craigslist also, CL is a very good source of traffic, but need to keep your ads clean since it's hard to get them to stick these days.

Do paid advertising if it's worth it, adwords with Google or bidclicks or Facebook ads.

Also do articles submission to articles directories and web 2.0 sites, blog commenting and forum posting.

Seriously, Groupon and a few others have certain countries pretty well sewn up - if you're serious I think you have to identify markets where the big boys haven't penetrated and go for that - but you need a string of good offers as well as buyers.

So why try to break in to a falling market ?

groupon advertising strategy is enormous and they spend billions on brand recognition and awareness. You need to find something where you are better and target what they do not. Not easy.
