I am an Ebay seller in the U.S. and I am trying very hard to find reputable product vendors in other countries that want to sell to U.S. buyers on Ebay. Is this a dream that will never come true? It seems like all of the vendors want their money up front, they sell products that are in the hundreds if not thousands of dollars, they have no shipping plan or refund policy, the list goes on and on - and they only want to pay a small commission for the privilege of selling their products using my highly rated Ebay account. I don't want to deal with a drop shipper either, that will only let you sell their products for a monthly membership fee. What is the best way to set up a relationship with foreign product vendors, without getting scammed?

Shipping in to the US is very expensive, people want their money up front as once the goods have been shipped they have no guarantee they will get paid at all.

Returns policy is an even greater nightmare and it is probably not worth actually having the product returned so in the event of a problem if the supplier has to do a refund they have lost out totally.

Why don't you want to take the risk and just buy the goods yourself, ship them to the US and then sell them. If you don't want to take that risk why would your supplier want to?

If you want to find good and reliable exporters, go to some international B2B sites and look for them there. Also deal with legal entities only and look up for as much info about the company as you can.
Always check for the legitimacy of this or that company.
