I am looking to develop a website through which SELLERS can post an item for buying or bidding and BUYERS can buy or bid on the item. In other words want a website like eBay, in terms of functionality.

My question is if it is possible to build a site like this with Magento? I know that I can post items but I want the users to post items. Are there any extensions which are capable of doing this?

Hi! Thank you for your reply. Really appreciate it.

I did look into auction scripts. The reason why I don't want to use that is becasue I want to run some other prebuilt modules on Magento. For example I need intergration with Quickbooks, Social plugins, Forums etc.

Any suggestions.
