I am currently trying to set up a "business deal" with a company in China however payment is proving difficult. I have a UK bank account (Visa Electron card) and no credit cards as I try to avoid debt! Apparently many payment companies do not cater for Chinese customers so this rules them out. I had been advised to use western union or a bank transfer - however I find these to be costly and inconvenient.
I attempted to use Ikobo however they wouldn't accept Visa Electron and then proceeded to use moneybookers. I attempted to upload a fairly significant amount of money to my account via bank transfer (which I find inconvience again) and have not heard anything from the company for the week despite several emails to their customer support so this rules them out.
Has anyone got any suggestions for a company and what to do about the current apparent loss of funds by moneybookers.com
