Good evening ladies, gentlemen, mods and admin.

I am wanting some thoughts on how much you sell your websites for per page.

We have been taught the following and i want to know your thoughts :

HTML BASED WEBSITES

£300 for the first page
£100 for the pages there after

FLASH BASED WEBSITES

£1000 for the first page
£300 for the pages there after

is this a good working model to start?

Well J - I think these quotes are expensive. Personally I don't like the price per page scheme - I may want to have simple html sites with several pages but functionalities that will take you 50 hours to develop... It's just that every project is different.

That rule of thumb may have been active in the early days but I don't think you will get away with it now, as more and more sites are oving away from static pages and going more dynamic.

With a dynamic site, the cost is in the programming, as the design is template based.
