Hi everyone,
I'd love to put a shopping cart on my website, the only thing I'm wondering is whether you can tell the shopping cart how many of each item you have, so that when the item is sold out, it is no longer available for other visitors to order until the item has been restocked?
I'm hoping that someone uses a shopping cart that has this facility and can point me in the right direction. Many thanks.

Most shopping cart systems have some sort of inventory management. osCommerce I know has this capability.

Yeah. I agree Anacrusis. Most of the Shopping carts do have this functionality. However, I would suggest that you should visit osCommerce, x-cart and zencart shopping cart software sites. They are good cart softwares.

a very cheap, but reliable cart is CyberSTrong - with any off the shelf cart be sure to keep up on the security updates. The hacks for the carts get around the web very fast.
