I'm setting up a site that will receive monthly subscriptions around AU$30.
The main Australian credit card payment processors charge different mixtures of set up fee; annual fee; percentage of payment; and transaction fee. The end result is that they're going to grab up to 7% of each payment., which naturally I'd like to reduce.
Anyone know of the cheapest processor or, better still, an alternative which can avoid them?
I'll try to get my customers to pay direct to my bank account by periodic debit on their bank account, but I don't have much knowledge of payment processors so maybe somone can point me in the right direction to keep my fees down.
