Recently, I purchased a forum that does per per post and I don't really like the idea. It does seem to be helping driving new members in either. In the past 3 weeks that own it, I was able to recruit 40 new members and I'm thanks to some of the members referral. The question is, if I turn this forum into revenue sharing could it help increase the interest for people joining. Does revenue sharing only really works with webmaster boards because of the background knowledge of their audience? Thanks

I wouldnt recommend it with a regular board. The reason it works so well with a webmaster board, is many of us actually have a google adsense account, and we can simply add our code here and make more profit... I wouldn't like paying per post either, however depending on how many people you have, you could always give them other offers as well and pay them for it. like www.cj.com

Well, I purchase the site about few weeks ago mainly for the vbulletin license, I might but a different domain and do a different board all together. Do you think any chance to have another webmaster board? or are there too many out there already?

In all honesty I think there are ALOT out there right now, so you've got to find something that they don't have.
