Do you use PayPal as a payment processor or someone else?

I started with another, but also take paypal because a couple of my clients requested it. I'll also take a check from certain clients that I've worked with before. It depends a little though on the client and the service they want. For example I won't take a monthly check for hosting services since I would need to charge too much for the service to cover sending out the invoices all the time and making all the trips to the bank. It would also cause too many problems in having to suspend the accounts when checks are late.

I think it's best to offer as many options as possible to clients and customers as you can. If you don't give them an option that makes them comfortable they'll just find someone else who does.

I use Paypal. Had some "Paypal horror stories" though. Had 2-3 cases of fraud and they do nothing to stop it. Terrible system really, but since everbody else uses it, I have to!

We use Paypal and 2Checkout. I agree with what has been mentioned above, it's best to offer as many options as possible to your clients to make it more convenient for them.

I use PrayPal for clients that have no other alternative (or that won't stop bugging me). However, I've had the same type of "horror stories" as Harvey has. They're awful.

The problem is that, in Canada, they're actually less expensive than the alternatives (and in some cases offer better service). Frightening, eh?

BTW there's a whole site dedicated to "anti paypal" - paypalsucks.com.

Was "Praypal" deliberate or a typo - either's appropriate!

Since hearing some of the PayPal stories I've moved to Click Bank.
No problems there so far...

I use paypal only .Coz lots of people are using it..It's really fast,but the Premier Account is a little bad,couz when i receive payments from credit card,i must pay for the fee ,and the fee is very high for me!

I love PayPal, I've never had any problems since I've been using it. The only thing is... They just took $20 out of a $500 transaction to my account! Killing me with that.

You need to have one more processor alongwith paypal otherwise you may loss sales from few ppl who wont use CC., btw we have safe, secure Online shopping experience with ChronoPay.

I use paypal,
I have used Paypal Payments PRO on one website i did for my client,
but PRO is for US citizens only,
2checkout and Authorize.Net are also good.

Well i lost over $70 in paypal through fraud I still use it and it is quite reliable, plus everyone else uses it.

Beside paypal few processors like 2checkout, worldpay, moneybookers, chronopay, authorize.net & protx are more popular these days.

I v been using Paypal for some tine now..no complaints there!

You can also try 2checkout and Worldpay...they are quite popular and also widely accepted.

Hi there! I am using PayPal too. But when you say you've lost some money through fraud, what do you mean? Did somebody log into your account, or what? I will be using it soon for transfers of quite substantial amounts and you people are giving me the heebeegeebies!
