I am new to e-commerce and am interested in starting an e-commerce business. I’ve been searching the internet for a couple weeks now. Of all the companies that I stumbled upon, a company called Shopster.com seems to be the most attractive. Their service offering looks great and they provide a large selection of products and a storefront creator.

As anyone heard of them or know anything about them? Are there other companies that you would recommend?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There are no "easy" solutions - to make a success of any business requires long hours and hard work. The company you mention I've never heard of, they look ok but you have to remember that you are entering a very crowded marketplace.

well the ecommerce is very competetive.. expect some large competition

cafepress is famous also, and commision junction

Cafepress is pretty cool, but the product selection is very small.

I have just signed up for an account with Shopster. The virtual warehouse is massive! There's over 700,000 different products that you can select from to sell. I'm really enjoying it thus far. The store creator is pretty powerful. It allows me to customize the store however I like. The customer support and community forum is top notch!

I'll keep you guess posted and write a review once I get more familiarize with the system.

Cafepress is one of the most popular but their products don't sell very well. I had tried it and was very disappointed.

Well, clickbank may be a nice choice.
I know many people make money via clickbank and adwords

No, I have never heard of clickbank.

I just went to their website to read up about it. Looks interesting. The only thing that I don't like about it is you can only sell digital products. Do people actually buy digital products? I'm sure if I wanted a digital product bad enough, I could find it somewhere on the internet to download.

I think I'm going stick and give Shopster a good try. I would much rather sell all the latest and hottest products then digital products. Who knows, perhaps I can combine the two and have the best of both worlds.

Update: I've been using Shopster for a little over 2 weeks now. I had a very fun time designing and building my store. I'm a perfectionist so it took me a little longer to build my store then to the average retailer. I launched my store about a week ago and I have already made a couple sales! I was pretty shocked. I wasn't really expecting any sales for a while until I could build up the traffic.

I know it's just an e-commerce website, but it feels good owning a business.
