I am currently working on a site for my pet care business. I'm adding an online store where I will sell my homemade dog treats and pet supplies. I have run into many problems. I finally got fed up and put instructions on how to use the store! I just can't find something easy and customizable to my needs. I basically have two categories: Treats and pet supplies. First off, I cannot get UPS to work correctly with it. It charges something like 300 dollars for a few items. I've been on the phone with the shopping cart people and they can't figure it out. So, I decided I would just put a basic charge for shipping and handling. With the treats, I would like to make it so that if someone buys more than $100 of treats, they will get 35% off the treat order only. I do not want this to apply to the pet supplies. The second thing is that I don't need to be shipping some of the orders I get. There is a coupon code for free delivery that I set up but It's something that if someone puts the coupon in and I can't deliver to their area, I will have to go back and do the order over. I just can't find a way around it except to have them call or email me to find out first if I will deliver to them.
