HI all,

Do you guys know if there is an open source ecommerce setup that will work for electronic files? As in, the products themselves are electronic. It would be great if I could set it up so that once they buy, they can immediately download what they've purchased with the full security of some kind of automated password feature or something.

Any ideas?

You can open an eStore with a free version of cart software I found. You can visit my website to see what I've been able to do with it. My total cost for my eStore is $5 per month for the web hosting. My total startup cost was $15 (3 months in advance for web hosting). There is a link to the free cart software if you decide to check it out.

Version 3.x of CubeCart supports instant digital delivery. It is free to use if you leave the back-link.

I did not choose to use; but, I was impressed with the product during my testing of it.

Sorry to jack a thread like this, but I noticed in your signature that it uses the phrase "porch monkey", iqchicken. Since that phrase has two meanings (and one of them is pretty racist), you may want to look at changing that.
