Hey everyone, I know there are a few other posts about this, but I felt it was necessary to create my own post.
Here's my situation: I am creating a magic company with 2 friends. We currently have a website. We will be seeling magic tricks online, through our website. These tricks will all be created and developed by ourselves, no 3rd parties. We will probably be using a shopping cart system, just to make it a bit easier.
Here's my question: Taking the situation that I am in, I was wondering if a "home made" privacy policy/terms of service can protect me from any dangers (people possibly being upset after purchasing an item from our website). I know it is always good to get a lawyer or somebody to write these things up, but at this time, we don't have the appropriate funds to do this.
Thanks for reading.
