I make a decent amount of money from a friend of mine. Basically, I advertise his clients' websites and get their traffic up, and they pay me for it. (certain amount of $ per forum links/directories/text/banner ads on websites)
I was considering making it a small "business"...or more or less just a service I offer, to the general public who needs to get some traffic but either don't have the time or resources or whatever to advertise themselves. My only problem is the whole honesty thing.
Because the jobs I have now are offered by a friend of mine who I know will pay me and stuff, I don't worry about getting cheated out. But how can I be sure that the person I advertise for won't just let me get their name spread around and then not pay me?
