I have just read the thred about paypal - and other ways of paying online. But im looking for a site that excepts credit cards and is very safe. i know of a few companys nin UK, but I am based in Spain, so it needs to be a company that excepts a wide range of credit cards - not just UK issued cards. Any ideas???

i use 2Checkout.com and it works great for me. I am quite sure that its available for businesses based in spain.

Besides 2CO, you can also try out services like worldpay, moneybookers etc.

Yeah, moneybookers is great for international transfers.

From my personal experience, I have used Paypal for credit cards with no problem, both from a merchant and from a customer's point of view. The only thing I have found to be a bit of a challenge with Paypal is to get them to use only the medium of payment which I desire at a particular time. It seems if you ask it to use the credit card once, it will go to the credit card for payment each time as long as the card is valid. Also the same occurs with seeking money from the bank account. This can be a bit of a challenge for the customer. However, as far as accepting cards for the merchant, I have found Paypal to be useful and safe.
