Greetings,

I am a graduate student at the University of Illinois - Springfield, enrolled in a final Capstone class. As part of an assignment, my group is seeking input on current trends in mobile e-commerce. We have sent a questionnaire to around 150 random e-commerce sites, with no replies.

if you are associated with a e-commerce site, could you please take a few minutes to answer these questions and return it to my at my student e-mail address, I would be extremely grateful.

Dear Sir,

We are conducting research on the impact of mobile computing on existing e-commerce sites. This project is related to our graduate studies in the Management Information Services program at the University of Illinois, Springfield. Our research is being carried out under the guidance of Dr. Rassule Hadidi. rhadil@uis.edu

All responses will be summarized for inclusion in our final report. No respondents to this questionnaire will be identified in any way at any time. All responses will be destroyed upon completion of our study.

Please accept our sincere thanks for your cooperation in our survey.

The survey is flawed, as most of these surveys are. They never take laptops and wireless Internet connections into account. Therefore, when I fill this out, I'm going to assume laptops are not considered mobile computers (since I suspect that's how the question was phrased) :

I'll post these answers on behalf of www.hibiscusflorals.com:

1. d) It's not an important part of the target market yet.

2. n/a

3. 1, although I would have picked 0 given the opportunity. Eventually, the advances being made in wireless Internet, coupled with laptops, will render much of the mobile browser functionality obsolete.

4. e) See 3.

5. b)

6. b), c), d) and e).

7. N.A.
