I am starting a new ecommerce site, and i have been looking around and i came across cubecart. Cubecart looks like something that i might want to use, but i dont really want to pay $90 for it. Does anyone know something like this but free?

thanks,
FS

Oscommerce, Zencart...

They are already a good starting point.
Launch your shop, try to make it run, and if you are too unconfortable with them, then invest a bit in something that corerspond more to you.

Your customers don't car about your eshop platform, if you have products that are appealing to them, and good prices, they'll buy.

checkout CRE-Loaded too.

Both Zencart & CRE-Loaded are built upon the OSCommerce framework. Don't go with OsCommerce, at least go with ZenCart or CRE-Loaded. I personally like CRE-Loaded since it comes with affiliate capabilites.
