If I'm creating a website for a restuarant that wants to have a picture of a map on the contact page of the site, how do I get this map picture?
I was thinking of the following options, but none of them any good. Anybody has a better idea.
1) Take a screen capture of Google map and post picture on page. I can't do that since it is against copyrights.
2) Use Google Map API to embedded a dynamic map on page. That requires a Google account and client doesn't have one or don't know how to sign up for one. Plus it is too difficult explain to client why they need to sign up for a Google account, then then sign up for Google Map API (what's API? they ask), and then pass me the API key (key? what key?), etc...
3) Pay for FlashMaps. Seems expensive and requires Flash.
So is there a free, easy, and legal way for me to have a map on a web page?
If it is not free, it is okay. Except it better not cost more than $5 per map.
