Hi Guys,

I have been running my site for almost 2 years now part time and am getting very frustrated with the current revenue. I was really hoping by now that I would have enough revenue to work full time on the site.

The site is an artist and music fan community for independent artists. I get a lot of positive feedback from artists and constantly add new features. Revenue at the moment comes from:

1. Good Adsense: $60/Month
2. Artist Upgrades: $40/Month
3. ValueClickMedia: $5/Month

The site has 3,050 members and gets about 1,000 unique visitors daily.

I don't know whether I'm allowed to post the link here but the site is called "mymusicstream" and is on the .com domain.

Any help or ideas to build revenue would be great

I only have time to have a quick look at your page, and admittedly I dont know much about GoogleAds but I would suggest the following if its possible:

1. The very top GoogleAds Banner stands out too much. Change the light grey background colour to match the background colour of your main header

2. In the right hand column, under the Featured Artist you have the Sponsors section with more GoogleAds in it. If possible I would suggest moving the image "Ads By Google" to display beneath the adverts instead of above them. That way people will only see that they are GoogleAds if they scroll further down the page. Possibly remove the words Sponsors too

Sorry I cant provide more (probably useless) feedback lol. Gotta run.

Thanks. I'll make that change to the top banner. I don't think I can control the google ads logo, but will check.

I think I'm going to try some site redesigning too. Some have commented that the site is too dark. I will try and improve this along with the navigation. Also going to add some more content soon
