Good afternoon,

I'm wanting to learn how to set up a site to sell download information.

Who can teach me or tell me where I can find this information. I know about getting hosting, domain names, etc. What I'm not understanding is how to organize the files..i.e. where to put graphics, pictures, the product. How to set up the links...stuff like that.

Your help would be appreciated.

Are you charging people for this down loadable information?
If so, then you should be looking for some kind of shopping cart system that supports pay-for-downloads.

The shopping cart that our service is based on allows for the sale of digital downloads upon the user completing the shopping cart process.

This works very well.

For hosting, I personally use Dynadot. It runs about $20 for an entire year. The best shopping cart and download service I have found is through Payloadz.com. It's a free service that works in conjunction with PayPal. They put your product on their servers, and list them for sale for you. You also have the option of having your products listed on their eBay store as well.
