Hi guys,

I need do display several 3d mobile phones on my website but I'd like to make them a bit interactive. When user clicks on some button of the phone the phone's display should show different picture in response. I'm loking around for some tool that I can create such animation with. I've made a quick research and found some software: JUXT, Esquimo, CopperCube, Flare3d. Which of them could do the job ?

Hello everyone, I need help!!! I been going back and forth the last 3 month thinking if I should get a team to create a dating site in Boonex. The reason I choose Boonex because I can add more features for less cost later on. The modules I think would be easier to add on later on. I started the project briefly and than stop the project because lack of experience Boonex professionals.

My questions?
Should I do this project in Boonex which will cost less than using another platform?
2. Can other platform do this, and anyone had experience using boonex?

Hi,

I�m having a landing page designed for my website. It�s going to be a regular Squeeze page and will include a Mailing List form for people to sign up.
My site is a BigCommerce platform site and this landing page will be HTML. At the moment I don�t want to convert the HTML to the BigCommerce�s template system.
On my home page I have a mailing list form that goes into a Database I can access from BigCommerce�s back end. I would like the new Landing page form to also feed the same data base� Is that Possible ?

Creating a tableless image grid with CSS

Hey guys, as always I�m trying to do something seemingly simple and am having some bizarre issues. I�m just trying to make a simple image grid without using tables.

First issue is, why is there a space between the images here? It seems like it�s adding a margin although Chrome developer tools is not saying that the images have any margin applied to them. I do want to have the images spaced out but I can�t do the math necessary for doing that if some browsers are going to be randomly adding a margin.

I was able to fix this by floating everything left. Is this the proper fix? It still bugs me that I couldn�t figure out why the images had space in-between

Let me know if I�m going about this wrong, is this how you guys would do a simple images grid? Also, I suck at math, how would you go about determining how large to make the images and how much margin? The parent container will be 960 Pixels and I�d like rows of 5 across to be centered

I have tried few keyword research tools but I found nothing to worth my money. All are providing what Google is providing inside Adwords tool to select the keywords or keyword phrases. I would like to get the recommendation to do the better keyword selection for the product that I am promoting through PPC campaigns of Google search network. If anyone has the good hands of experience could you please which one will be the best tool to do keyword selection and to analyze the competitors PPC campaigns?

W3C Validation - is it anal retentive?

I think designers go through 3 stages of evolution.

1) Website validation? - What's that.

2) Website validation fundamentalist - you start counting the number of validation errors on other people's websites.

3) Mehh. I'm over it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying there is an excuse for sloppy tag usage and I do think that future proofing by using valid HTML is a great idea. Especially with the evolving HTML5 spec.

If you are coding everything on your site from start to finish, I say go ahead. Validate like crazy. Knock yourself out.

But here is the point - In the last 4 years, not once have I coded an entire site from start to finish by myself. Unless you are the type of person who enjoys creating circular shapes and calling them "a wheel", I'd advise there is a smarter way to work.
And that is, to use a CMS program to provide at least the framework and functionality of your website.
My default position for any new site is to look at how I could build it using WordPress (and switch to something like Drupal or an eComm system like PrestaShop if WP is not suitable).
By using WordPress I can quickly download and install half a dozen plugins that provide all the functionality I need. To code the same from scratch would take days if not weeks of wasted time.

And here is the key point.
Unfortunately, not all plugin developers create W3C validated code.
Does this mean I am going to stop using their plugins - NO WAY.

So it's really a cost-benefit decision.
How valuable is it to be a validation nazi vs the power and productivity you can leverage from the open source CMS plugin community (which may or may not meet validation standards).

Do you see my point?

This is my first time in this part of the forums, so I hope my issue fits here. I have a Mac OSX and since yesterday my website won't load, yet every other site I visit does. It won't load in FF and Safari? When I try a PC with IE and FF, it loads fine. What could the issue be? I thought it was the server and contacted support. They loaded it fine in several browsers. I can't figure it out. Please, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I can view it with a proxy server on the Mac, just not directly?

I'm just wondering, out of curiosity, how much would you charge a client that wanted an eCommerce solution implemented on their site?

For example; their design is done, domain, and hosting is all there. Just the 'shop' section on their site. They'd require categories, products, product pictures, Paypal payments, registration, and a zip/postcode-based delivery price system (seeing as some areas will cost more than others, etc)

So how much would you charge for that? I'm not actively asking as a quote for a client, just seeing what the prices are like out there.

Nav bar - Chrome problem

I am having an unusual problem with chrome. I am using a navbar which I have used on other sites with no problems but this time only in chrome, IE and FF are fine, the parent link colours are not showing. the links are there, just not the font colours making the links invisible to the eye. However the drop down works fine. I am baffled, the colours of the links show up fine else where on the page inc the drop down. I tried removing the bg in the nav bar div but it had no effect. I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to simply display the content from my test.txt file into my HTML page. My test.txt file includes some html, something like this below:

I want to display that in my HTML DIV section. (Reason is, I don't wanna have to update my HTML page everytime I need to update the content of the text file.

I don't understand how to use PHP with HTML. I know how to create a php code page. And I've found code that gives examples on how to create the PHP script, but once you have the script how do you use it in your html?
