I am Elf Bruce from Elf FM. (elffm.8m6.net). We are a 100% non profit radio station pretty much for kids; all family christmas music. We have some changes coming up real soon. For one; we'd like to get a much better website. For another; a live chat operation center; and last, a new shoutcast server with 400 SLOTS!
We are, at the moment, looking for a few people willing to volunteer one month of their computer time for certain tasks. The jobs avaliable are: - Designer/Programmer
3 Months Experience Required. Must know PHP, HTML, and use a high quality designing program such as Photoshop. Will design & code our new website to our specifications within a week or so. You may use our site on any portfolios you might have; full credit to be given on Staff & Sponsor page.
- Programming Manager
A one person task. This person must aqquire us music to play on our stream via any methods he/she can think of.
- Elf Operator / Advertiser
A few people are needed to use our Live Support Software (a very expensive StarDevelop application) to answer viewers questions. We expect at least 10-20 Live Help Requests hourly, specifically more in the hours of 1AM to 11AM (Pacific Time Zone). They will be trained with how to use it, be given the live chat software & canned responses; and a guide on what to tell the visitors and how to properly answer their questions. They will also advertise us on forums, etc... to try to get us more holiday listeners using our images, etc...
