Hello everyone

I have recently had a new website designed and I require someone to code this site for me. It will include a basic home page design (html and css), sub page design, custom PHPBB and wordpress template.

It is all pretty simple stuff for someone who knows what they are doing

In return I am offering a 10% share of the profit that the site makes. This site has a lot of "experts" working on it, we have an SEO expert working on this (me), an amazing designer, an amazing blogging team waiting to get started and a forum mod team.

This site should be a massive success. We just need a coder.

As we have had no interest as of yet I thought I would add a bit more information to this thread

The site will be focused on a very popular subject (especially in the UK) Vegetable Gardening.

We have bought a very good domain which is short and contains keywords. I have identified the right niche and after much research I believe I have found some of the most profitable keywords available online toady

I already have a lot of friends in the business (I was a previous owner of a very big wholesale seed company) who are willing to blog and join the forum for us.

The sites ranking in the SE will be high (very high) and profit will be very high ($1,000 a month after the first 12 months)

So I just need a reliable coder to code a homepage, sub-page, blog and forum template (designs already done). No more work will be required after this and you will receive 10% of all profits made by the site

Adam,

Here is my 2-cents on your offer....

For the amount of work it would take... 10% is not a whole lot. A website, sub-pages, wordpress template, and phpbb template/install would take considerable time and effort to get the site going (I guess considerable is all relative). Plus the support required....

Consider that many web designers on elance.com are charging $150+ for a simple website and you want someone to do it (plus a whole lot more) for.... nothing to start and potentally $100/month after 12 months.

Where is the other 90% going.... to the blogging team and Forum Mods? If that is the case.. then I want to be one of those guys, it's a lot less work than creating/installing/supporting a website with blog and forum.

If you want people to take you seriously then you may want to reconsider your offer to something that is a little less insulting and more lucrative for the site designer.

And considering what we've learned of your ethics, this is all the more questionable. When you take every question posted here as a golden opportunity to sell yourself, instead of just answering the question, people probably don't want to be involved with Mr Spamtastic.

I don't understand Learning Newbie why you have a problem with me. The comment about Mr Spamtasic is out of order. To be honest I don't want/ need any work at the moment as I am working on a few large projects. I also am doing a lot of moderating (Brad Callens forums and mine)
