Hi. I run an extremely large vbulletin site, and we've recently moved to a Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 8212 with 8gb RAM. We're running mysql on a separate drive.
However, the server's not optimized yet, and I'm having some issues. So, I need to hire someone to do the following:
1) Upgrade php
2) Upgrade mysql
3) Recompile apache with only necessary modules
4) Install/configure firewall
5) Install/configure rkhunter
6) Tune my.cnf and httpd.conf to get maximum effect on heavy server loads
7) Install/configure a php accelerator
8) Install/configure a mysql "top" program to monitor mysql stats
9) Fix the segmentation faults that are currently appearing in my error_log
10) Generally, tweak the system for security and maximum performance
I need the work done on a Saturday (our slowest day). We need the server to handle approximately 2,000 guests and members on-line at any given time. Those familiar with vbulletin will be preferred. Please note, I'm running vbSEO, so there are .htaccess files and ioncube that need to continue to function as-is.
I do not use a control panel, so everything must be done command-line. I'm running RHEL4, and will provide SSH access.
Database and file backups will need to be performed prior to any work, to ensure that we can recover if there's an issue. I'll provide an off-site server where these can be sent.
