Hi,

I have developed a system that monitors services upto the minute from multiple locations around the world and generates an uptime possibility and notifies the administrator if the possibility of the service being down is quite high...

For example every minute multiple servers will check a MySQL Server if it is up and running, if 2 out 5 servers respond and say that the MySQL server is us up and running then that is a possiblity of 20% so the administrator is notified.

I am looking for someone to build the front end of the website and control panel in exchange for a clean 50% of profit, I will still hold full ownership of the back end monitoring services same as whatever you create is yours.

What makes this service unique?

I have built the monitoring services in Perl and MySQL using up to 15 multi-threading processes to check the status of a server. Most people who offer this sort of service can only check around 3,000 services per minute on a single thread. How they get round this is they offer 3 or 5 minute checking intervals. As my system runs upto 15 threads, my service can check over 30,000 services each minute this will enable my service to have more customers at more frequent interval of 1 minute...

I have researched into alot of monitoring services on the web, I havnt found one that offers all the features which I am aiming to offer.

I only found one website that offered minutely but the website looked very basic.

Every website i found had a set list of service it can monitor, www, pop, ftp etc, my service can monitor any service possible aslong as it is accessible from the internet.

How far have I got with this so far...
- The domain name has been registered, http://www.downreport.com/
- The service monitoring is 90% complete, i think the only thing missing at the moment is SMS text messaging...
- Graph has been generated to show basic stats on a given service http://www.downreport.com/cgi-bin/my...&dt=2007-08-01
- I have a spider diagram of how the site should be laid out...
- Template has been built in XHTML/CSS including all my SEO skills (I work as a manager for seo company)
- I have started writing the control panel, would like this starting from scratch http://my.downreport.com/.
- I have an SSL certificate, not yet installed.

Who am I looking for...
I am looking for someone who can think for themself, self motivation is a MUST, has good design ability, perl skills would be preferred but php should be ok... Good sense of how a mysql database should be structured... I will require some examples of work.
