How many hours a week are you going to dedicate to sales?
Are you willing to do profit share based on level of effort instead of 50/50?
Last time I did a "partnership" like this, I worked my butt off for 60hrs/week and the guy doing sales did about 2hrs/week.
50/50 of nothing was nothing.

First let me make a few points why I want a partnership.
I feel that 2 heads are better then one. By bouncing Ideas of each other
there is a much better chance that we could be coming up with some great
product Ideas.
In addition we would bring different skills to the table which could lead to bigger and better things to come.
However a partnership is a two way street. Everyone needs to be happy for
it to work. So it is very important to find the right person with like minded Ideas.
In answer to your question ....everything can be worked out. My basic Idea
would be that the partner would make the product and charge a wholesale
price to the partnership. So there will be a cost price and a Retail price.
The Profit will then be split 50/50.
