I have an existing Photopost php gallery that I paid someone (not from here) to upgrade and from what I have been able to find out, they did not complete it, so no one has been able to upload a photo for a month. I cannot reach the man who did this, but I suspect he was back on at one point and put a gallery backup on. I am sick of this gallery.

I have edited this from what I originally wanted. I am looking for someone to upgrade my photopost php gallery.

It is not letting me send you a reply.

Here is a link to a post I made about the problem. http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131913

What has happened in the last few weeks since my last post there. I was finally able to find the guy who was supposed to upgrade the gallery and told him what I was told, that he did not "run the upgrade".

He emailed back that he tried to put backup of the gallery on to see if people could upload photos now and it didn't work. Good grief!

Anyway, in a perfect world it would be wonderful to have the gallery in working order and even better to have it integrated with my smf forum, but since it isn't a perfect world I would be grateful just to have a gallery that worked.

What probably happened is that it changed the actual MySQL database so putting the old files on would not make a difference.

If you download the latest updates, follow the instructions and run these it should be an easy enough task to get it going again.

I have tried to look on the website for updates but I think they must be in the members section you need to pay for?

If you need any further help please feel free to PM me or E-Mail me on mail@smarterwebdesign.co.uk

Nick

ps. http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114560 says SMF forum should work with this
