Job Description
Award-winning digital marketing agency requires a talented Senior Designer to help deliver digital projects to public and private clients across the UK including Greater London Authority, Anglian Windows Group, UK Trade & Investment and Ipswich Town Football Club.
As a senior designer at itineris you would be trusted to lead or be a leading part of a digital project. We are looking for someone to join us, who can use their creative expertise and career experience to deliver engaging design solutions and who will complement our existing design team.
We are looking for an individual with an excellent visual and creative flair and an in-depth understanding of using digital channels. You will be happy to take on challenging design projects that require you to look at how the design solution will meet user needs whilst at the same time stretching you creatively.
In addition to delivering projects you will also play a key part in developing new business, and you will be asked from time to time to lead pitch processes and generate concepts and other creative presentation materials to develop business with new clients.
Duties and Responsibilities - Generating mood and concept work in challenging situations that meets the tough demands of users and technology
- Creating engaging digital design solutions that inspire users and meet business goals
- Communicating effectively at a high level in client organisations, able to produce and present work on your own
- A clear understanding of customer-centred design and the process involved, including: persona development, wireframing, user journeys or scenario work, interface design and navigation.
- Ability to lead and mentor more junior members of our team and our freelancers to help them create the best design work and create successful and integrated experiences.
- Maintaining regular contact with other team members including front and back end developers on a specific project when required to ensure a consistent approach to the design style and branding of the interactive output.
- Design expertise and direction into proposals and presentations.
Candidate Requirements
- Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign
- Other tools Illustration, 3D, video & sound editing, etc. not essential but beneficial
- A Strong Understanding of Accessibility Design (WAI, DDA etc) and Usability Design
- A deep understanding of branding and marketing
- An understanding and ability to run the creative process within a team environment
- Ability to take a brief and direct others when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with people from all disciplines, both within and outside the team.
- To be able to establish rapport and good working relationships with clients.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Team player - and "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Travel throughout the UK is an integral part of the job as you will be working on customer sites during elements of each project.
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.
