Hi Guys
I am busy working on a site . I have very very limited knowledge of sites . I can mess around in photoshop and dreamweaver and get the site lookin pretty much how i would like it but that is about it . I have purchased a template which I am editing best I can to suit my needs but I then need someone to help me do the rest .
I need some sort of ecommerce facility the simplest to set up , a paypal link would do and then some way setting up a members area on the site for people who have signed up so only they can view it basically a login screen for an extra page of information .
I am willing to pay if anyone could sort this out for me via paypal obviously we will have to negotiate a price as im not sure how difficult this would be to do .
I would also like it to feature on seach engines but that is a job for another day .

have you considered using a content management system. there are some that are quite complicated to very easy to use and contain all the features you require.

I had a quick look at joomla which someone reccomended before , but I all ready have the basics of my site designed in html and dont know if these could be transfered over to joomla .Any idea ???

www.websitebaker.org has a rather nce little setup. you can transfer your html to pages within the cms. have a look at it, its quite simple and rich with features.

Have you thought about using IPB? They have a service where users may buy a premium membership so they can view private pages.

Nearly any html page can be translated to work in Joomla. Your best bet would be to learn a content management system that has all the features you need and then pay someone to create the design for you.

Check out http://www.opensourcecms.com/ to start getting a feel for different systems and what they can do for you.
