I'm in need of a web designer/coder who is able to create a new website for our company (see: http://www.spookedout.com). You will need to have good experience both with "Web2.0/AJAX". This is for a web hosting company.

Colour Schmes: White, Grey, Dark Blue, Black

Just here to warn you guys,

Was originally given to me but then he starts messaging me every hour for my progress. Being the weekend I go out then he tells me that it's off and I should have done it for free because I am a freelancer.

Told me he is 45, talked like he was 16. Kept telling me about his extremely large company with large infrastructure that were run by 3 men. Guessed it right, found his Myspace (everyone has it) Thomas Markey, 16 years old - Bramhall High School, Stockport, United Kingdom.

Leave the business to the big boys. Go back to school son.

I see you have deleted your MySpace account. Like I said, 16 year old, you should be having fun, going out, not acting like you own the biggest webhosting company (you don't run a registered company by the way).

He didn't show you the rest of the conversation where he made a fool of himself when he boasted about his clients and his "big infrastructure". But I won't go that low as to publish a private conversation. Do show us some evidence of your "large infrastructure" perhaps one that has "SpookedOut Internet Solutions on it. Your dad's office don't count.

I agree. It seems this is what the hosting industry is resorting to. Kids looking after your business's infrastructure. If only the typical hosting customer knew who was running these companies.

There should be a web hoster's guild which monitors the age of the owners of hosting companies. Any kid with an internet connection can now start a hosting company & promise the world to potenital customers. Kids like these make a mockery of the industry and are quite annoying in my opinion. It's kids like these that give consumers the impression that web hosting companies suck & have horrible customer support.

How exactly would a 16 year old offer customer support if/when the mailserver goes down while they're in school?

I havent been in this community long myself but I know that everyone around here tries to keep it friendly. Thats why this forum is obviously so popular ~ childish pests like yourself have surely been a gone throughout the years and I'm sure you're no different.

HI - I attempted to design for this guy as well, and i just got the vibe it wouldnt work (based on past projects with the same vibe). He told me he had someone else designing it then wanted me to slice that design - at that point I canned it and moved on to other work.

If he's back here still looking for a designer obviousely he's looking for one with the silver mouse, or he really dosent know what he wants for this site - at all.

No offense intended, but I tried - I never bought up the question of money - so I can't talk about the 'freelancer' part there, but I'm glad I backed away when I did.

So, you send me another layout, which was like saying potato or potaaato considering mine was about 50% done. So what happened to that design? Thought that was the one you were going with and now you're still here looking...so that one was no good either? I feel bad for that poor designer as well now too.
