Sorry I'm new to writing content for others so I would like to know what are the thngs that I should look out for if I intend to start to write for others? And how much is the standard price of an original piece of 1000 words? Thanks

I would say it depends on your skill, experience and attention to detail. Writing for the internet can be difficult as the editing process is Largely ignored. I suggest you do work by project size rather than $ per word. You might want to use spell check too.

It really depends on your previous work and experience, the topic you're writing on (people are prepared to pay better money for articles on specialist subjects), who you're writing for and the overall quality of the piece. Very few people will say they'll pay you X amount of dollars for an article before they've read it so there really isn't a "going rate" for this kind of thing.
