Freelance Writing Jobs

Hello everyone,
I am trying (without much sucess) to begin my career as a freelance writer! Becuase I have no portfolio (yet) I can't get any clients. Therefore I am offering my services for free. All I ask in return is for me to be able to put it into my portfolio and also I would like either credit for the writing somewhere on it or if you would like for people to think that you wrote it or something then I would like your permission to have potential clients to contact you about the article. I will write about almost anything!
