An Air Force squadron commander has been relieved of his command after five nuclear weapons were mistakenly loaded aboard a B-52 and flown cross-country from North Dakota to Louisiana last week, NBC News reported.

Get this: "Military officials insist the warheads remained 'under control' at all times and did not pose a danger." Even though they didn't know about them?

Boy do I ever feel safer. In my day, we had a saying that goes "With friends like these, who needs enemies?"

How do you mistakenly fly 5 nuclear warheads over American soil, I mean it’s not like misplacing your keys.

You mean you guys don't feel safer, either? It was "only" North Dakota to Louisiana, but still, if you stop and think how nuclear warheads are the most dangerous weapon ever made, they need a little more care!

I'm with Cheshire on this one. Five nukes isn't like leaving your keys at work. I make mistakes, we all do. I've forgot to use my turn signal when no one's around, but I've never accidentally cleaned the oven while it was set to 500 degrees, because I know very bad things will happen.
