you should never trust wikipedia because information can be posted by anyone, i could put an artical up telling you how to build a car, but actualy i dont have a clue

I usually look on Wikipedia first, because that's usually what comes up first on Google. If the information seems right, I will trust it. The only time I go farther the Wikipedia is when I'm doing a research project.

My school does not allow Wikipedia to be a source for a research project.

For my graphics, i was told i could copy and paste so i jsut took some text and plonked it on my folder page, all i have to do it highlight a couple of key points and im done

That's the main reason I use Wikipedia these days. Everything there is copyleft, so you can use bits and pieces on your site. My logo, the orange ribbon, is from Wikipedia's article on The Orange Revolution.

I will not depend fully on wikipedia, because the datas given by the wikipedia is only a part of it. We can say it like this, it is giving only the summary of some articles. If we need full data we should go only to any other articles sites like 'goarticles'. In here you will get a lot of information with regards to wikipedia.

I used to trust it, but lately it is becoming full of false or wrong information. i think they need to get ontop of this kind of issues before it gets too much to fix....a bit like ODP directory has now become. an old useless directory

I use Wikipedia only as an informal information source. I would never cite it in an academic or research paper (unless the paper was about Wikipedia, of course).

For the most part I trust it. I don't really research controversial issues on it, the stuff I look up can only be either right or wrong. I can't remember ever seeing a discrepancy in the info I was looking at (could be wrong).

I get all my info on current events from watching FOX news (joke).

In general I trust it. The few times I have used it has a resource the information has been correct and well written. On the other hand I wouldn't quote it as a source for document writing.
