Hi all,

My first post in this forum so ill just say hi yall.

Ive nearly finished building a site that indexes tv shows from accross the net on various popular video sharing sites. To stop them being deleted by Veoh or Youtube staff members, uploaders have to name them in alphanumerics like "YA90FG". This means theyll never ever turn up on the search engines for both moderators and users alike.

So we need to index these gems! I already know a group of people that upload the latest TV shows in hidef to places like Google Video, Veoh, Youtube, DailyMotion etc. All i need is a few willing people to help me index them on my the site (www.thinlemon.com). As this is a newly created site, im affraid I cant offer any monetary reward for the time being, but if or when the site grows, so will the cash

I know there are a couple of sites like this out there, but I believe the script and system ive developed with will give users an easy to use, but greatly entertaining website.

Sounds illegal.

I've got my suspicions too, although I haven't looked at the site yet (can't from my location). Why would you be concerned about whether Youtube deleted content? They generally only go after the copyrighted stuff.

Nope, not illegal at all. As long as he's not hosting the files themselves, and their hosted on another server, it's called "Warez Indexing", which is perfectly legal.

I'm really glad someone mentioned the legality of this whole thing, as already mentioned, no files are hosted on thinlemon, and if youd read my post clearly I stated that all files are embedded from places like youtube, google video etc.

If anyones interested, please feel free to signup and ill message you a complete description and lo-down of what were all about.

I don't know if that's true. When Peter Petera told me he really wished something would happen to his wife, it would have been illegal for me to introduce him to Vinnie the hitman, even if I didn't carry out the hit myself, right? That would make me an accessory.

I don't either. That's a real grey area in my book, and one most people would shy away from. Besides, if these get indexed, what happens if your site gets popular and TV show execs find out about it? Whose *** are they gonna fry first?

It doesn't matter who they sue first, second, third; they'll go after everyone within legal reach. And you really don't need to get that popular before someone finds you. It's a small world.

It seems to me this site would encourage people to add illegal content to places such as You Tube.

I guess this could potentially help the entertainment companies since they could go through the site and find the names of the videos on You Tube
