Ever have one of those mornings ?
Well I just did !

OK...

What started last week as a disagreement concerning a film projet and company direction, between my business partner and myself. Has now degenerated into an all out hostile conflict.

This morning I found that I have been locked out of our office and everything in it has been seized. In return I have done similar by closing our studio and seizing all our film equipment.

What this means to some people on this forum.

The Internet has never been the real "bread and butter" of our operations. More of a pet project for me. Having stated that, I no longer have access to many things and that includes pretty much everything concerning the net.

Therefore...

My apologies to the people that I was involved in talks or negotiations for future web projets. They are now cancel indefinately;

As for those people that I had a firm agreement. Instead of making you wait a long time to see how this will complet. Consider those projets similarly cancel.
To be fair and in the interest of good relations. I will honour our agreements as if they were complet and make full payment.

Def Firm :
And because I understand the polimiques of the net and forums.
Allow me to define by what I mean is a "firm agreement."

1) The details of the projet have been complet layed out and agreed upon.
2) A deadline has been set for when the product will be delivered.
3) I have paid my customary 10% to firm up the deal of the agreed price.

Anything else is not an agreement.

IF there are any problems
My former partner is now in control of many things.

Michel, I'm really sorry to read this, and I seriously hope that you will overcome this.

Sérieusement, les seuls mots qui me viennent à l'esprit, c'est "quelle merde!".
Bonne chance.

Merde head. He'll get his due in time. I think all of us want to send our condolences.

I went into a partnership with someone and then their family wanted them to go into another type of business. I will never go partnership again. I think for me it would be easier to go sole proprietorship and then sub-contract.

Very sorry to hear about your problems Michel. Maybe in time the soup will cool down and you can have a more amicable breakup with "quelle merde".

Most of us have been through similar...as the saying goes: "when you have a partner you have a boss" - always worrying about whether the other guy accepts what you think is best for the business and vice versa...

Sympathies and hopes for a better situation in the future...

Oui...
Bien sûr il est un connard. Mais je n'ai pas de souci.

Not a probleme. I have another corporation enregistered in cyprus.
The studio and our equipment is worth more than the office equipment.

Hold up a minute. Something isn't quite right here.

If you're partners, you can't get locked out...you're a co-owner. Unless you're a minority owner, in which case you never really were an owner to begin with.

I dunno dude...this sounds like one of those "three sides of the coin" things.

Lol.

Thats one thing i have always swore i would never do when/if i own a company would be to sell at the max more than 49% i just dont get what idiot would sell the majority

That little percent gives you so much more control. and there would be no chace of you really getting out voted. you cant be forced to sell your share... etc...

sure you can...
It is called, "I changed the locks on the doors. Now you can't get in."
I have responded by changing the locks on the studio and not letting him in.
