I haven't seen the guy in weeks here. And I've learned a lot from Dave. He's been patient enough to listen to my crap and point out where I'm wrong in an unassuming manner. In my early 40s, I owe a bit of personal growth to the guy, for showing me my own biases. And then on top of that, he's been a great influence in explaining how the web works, from the big picture on down to the tiny details of how to run your server. The guy has earned my respect, and given his nickname and how I'm an arch-liberal, that says a lot.
But I haven't seen the guy for a while. Does anyone know what's up with him? Hopefully it's just his family keeping him busy?  Or something positive?
Dave - if you see this, you're in my prayers. I don't want to think negative, but I really hope it isn't some kind of misfortune that's keeping you away. |
