Hi Guys,

I am looking to start a simple blog and I just wondered which is the best blog script / website to use?

I don't mind using a script but I just wondered what people's opinions were.

Wordpress for me is the best script out there, very simple to use very simple to install MOD's and Themes, I just love it

Definitely Wordpress for me too. It's a fantastic blogging platform and it can be easily customized using plugins and lots of themes too

Wordpress. The only thing I don't like about it is the way it rewrites your code, but if you don't try to do anything too advanced that shouldn't be a problem for you.

I use wordpress for my blogs. i have 4 of them, have used them for about a year now, and can vouch for the quality of the script, the search engines love it, and its generally an easy blog to use and install.

highly recommended

Another one for Wordpress. I've tried a whole bunch of them, installing them on my computer's webserver to try them out, and then try modding them.

Wordpress was, by far, the easiest to install, control, and mod.
