I forget the figures, but about 75 or 80% are right handed, the rest being left handed or in KML's case, ambidextrous

I'm left handed (except when I play guitar). I've noticed that there are a lot more lefties in the IT field than should be expected. Something like 15% of people are left handed, but when I was a freshmen at college they took a survey of CS majors and there was a much higher percentage of lefties, I think it was about a third.

I have noticed a large percent of teachers are lefties..

im a right, but use a knife and fork "****-handed" i jsut find it so much easier

i can write (very very badly) with my right hand

Yes you should think a bit more before making polls you dont leave anything out..

Lefty here, and somewhat surprised to see the high percentage of southpaws.

Mind you, my hockey and golf shots are right shots because it's my power arm for some reason.

I'm left handed for writing, pitch with my right hand, and can use either hand for just about everything else.

I used to play a lot of tennis and would freak people out, goofing off, playing with no backhand. I'd just switch from one forehand to the other.
