There is, in the option panel, a field to specify our blog rss url, if any, to fetch the latest post.

I've completed it yesterday, and today, it still hasn't fetched anything about my last post.

I've setup the ping address too, as specified in the options, into my wordpress admin area, and as I've seen visits from other blogs I'm fairly sure it works, but there again, I've seen no changes.

Is there something more to be done to integrate your blog with this forum ?

I've tried the ping thing with my Wordpress blog and it didn't work either.

Instead, go to the user control panel here, options, and to that part you were on but change the update method from pinging to WMT update - it will refresh to see if there is a new blog post about every 45 minutes, including when you just log in.

I've used this and it's great - not sure why the pinging doesn't work though

Thanks Whym. I've uploaded my options, and tried to go to my profile page, but I don't see the post yet.

I'll wait a couple of hours, and I'll check it again later.

OK no worries. Try making a new post now and see if it updates with that, and remember to make sure the RSS URL is correct. It should work - if it doesn't, write another post and I'll get in touch with the admins on the issue

What URL did you put into the control panel here?

Mine is http://www.great-library.com/feed/ and works - yours should look like that. Just replace my domain name with my domain name, and you'll be able to plug my blog.

For Blogger you need ?alt=rss or something like that at the end. We've gone over it a couple times already in different threads, so if anyone else is reading this wondering about that one, head over to the Blogging Forum.

Lol Newbie - I was about to jump onto your "mistake" about the domain name, and then continued reading and realised you knew what you were doing!

It's what I did, apart that the blog is not on the root of the domain.

The url I've entered is http://www.webalis.com/blog/feed/, and it respond to requests. Or should I give the Atom fedd url, which is http://www.webalis.com/blog/feed/atom/ ?
