Everybody you meet in business seems to have a mantra or principle they like to work to what are your favourites. Some of mine are:

"Keep it tight(costs) and raise invoices!"

"Sort out the negatives as they could sink you whilst the positives will take care of themselves"

Mine is handed down by my boss, a local entrepreneur, and it goes as followed.

"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you get rained out."

To me, its expressing that you can't always win or lose, sometimes there are many variables that are uncontrollable.

I have to admit, that one is cool, and I'm not much for mottos.
If I had to claim one, the one in my sig will do. I guess you could say the broader meaning is, "If you stay in the box, well, you stay in the box". You will never hear of anyone who made history who did so.

yeah i like your "stay in the box" motto Tim, after all, most big entrepreneurs think outside the box, and thats what makes them big
